Planet Maine Relaunches!

posted in: News | 0

ksummitmedTo celebrate our ten year anniversary and just because we needed it we have given the Planet Maine site a HUGE makeover. The site was created using WordPress and a theme from the great folks at Kadence. Things have changed so much in the web world in the last few years we have been working on websites – from html to DotNetNuke database driven sites and now to the more sparse and visually appealing world of WordPress.

We have also launched a Facebook page. Give it a Like! In addition to announcements of new happenings and offerings from Planet Maine we will also keep you up to date on everything from cyber security to social media trends,

Thanks and stay tuned for what’s next.

pumpkinvinePumpkin Vine Family Farm is a diversified family farm, committed to farming in a way that enriches the human and natural communities. The site is done using Google Sites.

“Will is great to work with! He listened to what we wanted for our farm image, and helped design an attractive site. He encouraged me to manage the page content myself, but took care of the more complicated features quickly and capably. I feel empowered to update our site myself, and confident knowing that Will is there to help if I ever get stuck. I would recommend Planet Maine to anyone, but especially those who want to update their site themselves.”

Town of Somerville, Maine

svilleWe are a quiet rural town with a tradition of community.

Many of us are from families who settled here in the 1800s; the rest of us moved here because we value the peace and privacy of small town life.

We are located about half an hour inland from the midcoast, close enough to access its many diversions, but far enough to escape the bustle.

We wouldn’t have it any other way!

The Somerville site is built on the Google Sites platform and features a news blog, calendar, and town archives.
